JVC MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT INCREASES INTEGRATION OF PANDORA INTERNET RADIO INTO 2014 LINEUP

Las Vegas, Jan 7, 2014 – JVC Mobile Entertainment, the premier developer and manufacturer of sophisticated mobile, audio, and video products, today introduced their new line of in-dash receivers capable of delivering a high-quality in-car listening and operational experience of Pandora Internet Radio. Eight new In-Dash CD, three new Digital Media Receivers, and seven new Multimedia Receivers will display and allow control of the service when connected to compatible iOS devices. In-dash receivers with Bluetooth® wireless technology support the service when paired with compatible Android smartphones.

Pandora is a free internet music streaming service with more than 70 million monthly active listeners streaming more than 1 billion hours of music a month.

To use the feature, users can connect a smartphone with the Pandora mobile application installed to compatible JVC Multimedia, Digital Media Receivers, and CD Receivers. The Pandora application is free and available on the App Store as well as Google Play.

Compatible JVC Multimedia receivers feature either a 6.1” or 7” touch-panel LCD display allowing listeners to see Title, Artist, Album Art, Station Name & Logo of their current listening content while having the ability to operate Skip, Play/Pause, Search, and Bookmark commands. Music can also be evaluated using on-screen Thumb-up and Thumb-down commands to assist the service in determining what to play next.

CD and Digital Media Receivers display Pandora as its own menu source with on-screen controls for pause, skip, thumb up and thumb down commands and registered station search. Users can also create new stations from the receiver while artist, station name, track title are also shown on the LCD display during playback.

CD and Digital Media Receivers compatible with Pandora Internet Radio start shipping this month at a MSRP of $89.95 while compatible Multimedia receivers will start at a MSRP of $319.95.
