A major advantage of SX-Series amplifiers over the competition is that their Class D circuitry operates at 80% efficiency, while most class A/B amplifiers operate at only 50% efficiency. This means the SX-Series amplifiers generate less heat and draw much less current, meaning less stress on the vehicle’s electrical system and better overall performance. Plus, thermal rollback circuitry automatically adjusts the amplifier’s output in extreme temperatures so music will continue to play without the possibility of thermal shutdown or amplifier damage.

These new subwoofers combine top-of-the-line technology and modern styling, making them ideal for a wide variety of installations. Of considerable note is the SX18s4 subwoofer: a powerful 8-inch sub designed for installation in smaller vehicles or custom builds with unique requirements. This tiny powerhouse has 35mm of peak-to-peak excursion, a 2.5-inch OFC voice coil, a vented aluminum former and a high-roll butyl rubber surround.
