Hands On: Large Smartphone Travel Case by WaterField Designs

You have seen in the past that I have done multiple reviews of bags and cases from WaterField Designs. I love them not only because they are durable and have superior build quality, but they are made to order right here in the USA. The Smartphone Travel Case series they have does not disappoint either.

The Smartphone Travel Case comes in 3 sizes. Small, Medium and Large.  They also have 6 colors to choose from. This way you can keep all of your WaterField designs bags the same color and add a little splash of color to mix things up.

The Samartphone Travel Case is water-resistant. The outside of the case is made of both rubber base and ends. The sides are a nylon material, the same as the rest of their bags. On the front is a thin zippered pocket that is good for carrying either a charging cable or some papers.  Inside of the outside pocket are two separated compartments and the main larger area. As you can see from the pictures I prefer to keep my charging cable in this pocket.

The main pocket of the Smartphone Travel Case has a soft lining to keep your device or whatever else you may put into the bag safe and you won’t have to worry about the items getting scratched.  The main pocket has 5 individual pockets and a main area to store your items. As you can see in the picture I use the main pocket to store my iPhone 5 in the SnowLeopard case. The side pocket I have a Power Bank and a second charging cable. Routinely I use the Travel Bag to care 6 or 7 Power Banks and a couple of charging cables for various devices for all of my co-workers. The case has plenty of stretch so it’s easy to fit larger items in the bag without having to worry about breaking the bag.

There is also a loop that is sewn under the zipper on the end. Even with strong tugging there is no give in the stitching of the loop.  The American stitching is very strong to last you a long time.

The YKK Zippers have plastic over the metal so if you would happen to put your bag inside of one of their Messenger Bags you will not scratch anything else in the bag. Also, the rubber makes it much easier to grab onto and pull the zipper open and closed.

The case, just like the rest of the products I have tested from WaterField Designs is very well made and has no signs of wear since I have received the Case. It is routinely place inside my Messenger bag and fits well with the other cases I use.  If you happen to be looking for a small bag to carry your phone and accessories in, be sure to check out WaterField Designs and check out the quality American Made bags that they offer. All bags are custom made in the USA when you place your order.

Price for the Smartphone Travel Case  range from $35.00 for the small bag to $39.00 for the Large Travel Bag that we tested.
