LOS ANGELES – February 13, 2014 – Rapoo, a leading manufacturer of wireless peripheral products, unveils the E2700 multimedia wireless keyboard with touchpad, part of the company’s highly esteemed Blade Series.  The ultra-slim keyboard is an essential tool designed to enhance productivity and performance right from the comfort of your couch.  There’s no need to use a separate keyboard and mouse when browsing the web or enjoying multimedia with this expertly designed, all-inclusive peripheral.

“We wanted to design and develop a product that allows the consumer to effectively control their Smart TV or laptop without anything getting in the way… a truly must-have accessory for the home,” says Bob Blankert, Global Sales Director of Rapoo.  “We’ve even included vital hotkeys so users can control their music and multimedia with the push of a button.  How easy is that?”

The E2700 boasts a scissor key structure for heightened accuracy, reliability, and the perfect key stroke results every time.  This eliminates typos because the micro-scissors distribute pressure evenly across the key surfaces so each quiet keystroke you make is correct every time.  The E2700 keyboard consists of 80 keys including 13 hotkeys (i.e. volume, mute, forward/back and more).  Additionally, the touchpad on the right side of the keys takes the place of a mouse, and ensures full media control with the swipe of a finger.

The included nano USB receiver is so small and unobtrusive that you can simply plug it into your device’s USB port and forget about it.  The E2700 operates on a 2.4GHz wireless frequency with a 360 degree range and up to 33-feet of working range for a reliable connection.  If you want to take your keyboard with you, simply store the USB receiver in the small compartment on the back side of the keyboard.

The E2700 is lightweight (186 grams) and thin (5.6mm) so you can easily store it when not in use.  With an elegant brushed stainless steel plate, the keyboard and touchpad is just as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional, and it can fit into the décor of any living room or home office.

The E2700 is available in black or white and has an MSRP of $49.99 at www.walmart.com and other fine retailers.
