Kiev, Ukraine – May 7, 2014 – Seventeen hours is all it took for Concepter to reach its goal of $50,000 in order to bring Lunecase into production.  Since its launch on Kickstarter eight days ago, Lunecase has raised more than $114,000.  This outstanding response has lead Concepter to announce a new stretch goals for the product, Lunecase Eclipse.

The Lunecase Eclipse functions just like the Lunecase, except instead of icons illuminating on the back of the phone there is now a ring around the Apple logo that will illuminate when the user receives an SMS message or a phone call before it is even displayed on the iPhone’s screen.  In order to illuminate, the case does not use batteries or any other connection with the phone.  The light is created with the help of LEDs powered by the free energy that is emitted by the device.

“We showed this prototype version at CES this year and it was a big hit,” said Concepter founder Vlad Tislenko. “In order to create the Lunecase we decided to go with simple, sleek icons that would illuminate on the back of the case.  However, the response has been so phenomenal that we now have the means to offer the Lunecase Eclipse.”

Lunecase Eclipse pledges will start at $35 for iPhone 5/5S or 5c.  Estimated delivery on the project is August 2014.  Check out more information on Lunecase here.
