WEST COVINA, CA – May 13, 2014 – E FUN, a consumer electronics designer and manufacturer of fun, easy-to-use lifestyle products, announces the availability of its first quad-core Nextbook Android tablet, the Nextbook 8. The slim and portable Nextbook 8 lets users access everything they need in one place – from books, movies, photos and games to emails, documents, to-do lists and more. It features a 7.85” high-definition touch screen, Android Jelly Bean 4.2, Google Play, and a narrow frame bezel. The Nextbook 8 is available nationwide at Walmart stores and on Walmart.com.

The new Nextbook 8 tablet comes with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, and is updatable to Android KitKat 4.4 when available in July. It is the first Nextbook tablet to include a high-performance Quad-core processor (Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex A9 1.6GHz).

The Nextbook 8 is optimized and preloaded with Google Play as well as Android apps from Google including Gmail™, Chrome™, Google Talk™, Google+™, Google Maps™, YouTube™, and Google Drive™. The tablet also comes preloaded with the Barnes and Noble NOOK for Android app so that users can buy and read their favorite books with the touch of a finger. Other preloaded apps include VUDU, CloudLink, Springpad, Net Nanny, and more.
