MB Quart Ships Compression Horn Speakers

Las Vegas, NV – MB Quart announced at CES that it has begun shipping the new Marine and Powersports line of compression horn technology. The new UHS technology is available in matte black, white and dove grey in most models. Additionally, many of the products are available with the MB Quart RGB illumination system with virtually limitless colors.

The Point Source Technology featuring UHS Technology, is an industry first. The coincident Mounted Compression Horn is designed to deliver large amounts of SPL while distributing a full range of frequencies. The main advantages of these horn speakers are their ability to produce about five times more sound than a traditional cone speaker from a given amplifier output.

The speakers are available in an 8-inch tower, a 6.5-inch compact tower, and 6.5 door speakers. The 6.5-inch horns of the NHT1C series are mounted in a shallow enclosure which allows the pod to be mounted in an installation with minimal space.

With minimal amplification, these MB Quart UHS technology drivers can produce 92dB from the 6.5 inch and 95dB from the 8-inch driver.

Using RGB technology, MB Quart creates Virtually Limitless color choices with color on, off, strobe and programmed “light shows” possible. The optional N1-RC remote is required for control of lighting systems and to sync multiple illuminated speakers.
