Getting Fit: Hidrate Spark 2.0

For the past few weeks, we have been testing the Hidrate Spark 2.0 smart water bottle. Most people forget about water when they are trying to get in shape and better their life. But thankfully Hydrate has solved that problem.

With some smart water bottles it’s a straw that is monitoring your intake but with the Hydrate, they actually have a smart meter inside the bottle that keeps track and re-syncs every time you put it down. When it syncs it sends the info via Bluetooth to your Apple or Android device, but it can also work with your Apple Health Kit, Google Fit, Jawbone Up, and Under Armour which includes MyFitnessPal & MapMyFitness.

Now with all these platforms, it syncs to you might be worried that it could get confusing or mess up and try to sync to some else’s phone. But once you sync its locked to your phone and they walk you through step by step in the Hidrate Spark App.  Thankfully because of the material they use for the bottle it is sleek but you don’t have to worry about it slipping out of your hand. The only drawback I found with the Spark is when you’re drinking they do not have a vent hole on the lid so when I am done a workout I like to chug my water back and I cannot do that with this bottle.

That being said it is not a deal breaker what so ever. This is a great bottle and when you are working or even just sitting at home the Spark does glow to remind you to drink so you stay in your goal. Water intake is so much more than hydration, it helps improve your mood, physical performance, and even keep you more alert!

Right now at the Hidrate site, you can get $7 off a bottle which means instead of it being $54.95 USD it would only be $47.95 USD. If you want to improve your life with a great side kick then go-to Hidrate and order yours today. It comes in White, Green, Teal, Pink, Purple, or Black. As I am writing this the Green is sold out and the Teal/Purple have low stock so get yours before they’re gone (for now)
