Directed Announces SmartStart 4.3.3

VISTA, Calif. (September 18, 2017) — Directed announces today the release of Viperand Directed SmartStart 4.3.3, the latest versions of its groundbreaking connected car SmartStart app.

SmartStart 4.3.3 has several important upgrades for users. Most importantly, 4.3.3 enables SmartStart users to enjoy all the benefits of Directed’s award-winning DS4 digital remote start and security system, including free Bluetooth-enabled smartphone control. The release includes iOS and Android apps for both the Viper and Directed brands. 

“SmartStart 4.3.3 is an important step forward for Directed,” said Geoff Weathersby, Vice President, SmartStart Product Management. “The DS4 system was designed to take full advantage of SmartStart and bring users incredible new benefits, and 4.3.3 is the app release that makes that possible.” Directed also added widgets in 4.3.3 for faster access to vehicle controls. The release adds new user-selectable dashboards, including Map and Security-only views, which complement the existing modern and classicdashboards.
