G-SHOCK Announces New Colorways For Street Style Watches Ahead Of Holiday Season

DOVER, N.J.Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Today, Casio G-SHOCK introduces new, vibrant colorways for two popular men’s street style models ahead of the holiday season. The recently released GA800 model and the iconic DW5600 model will receive a bold new look inspired by sporty colors and the current throwback street trends.

In a nod to bright color combinations from the early 80’s, the new DW5600 Throwback 1983 collection includes four colorways in yellow with a black band (DW5600TB-1), white with a red band (DW5600TB-4A), turquoise with a purple band (DW5600TB-6) and bright blue with a pink band (DW5600TB-4B). The DW5600 Throwback 1983 models feature an EL backlight, flash alert and multi alarm – all in a 42.8mm square case.

Inspired by the bold colors of trendy athletic wear, the new GA800 models will be available in blue with neon yellow accents (GA800SC-2A), purple with orange accents (GA800SC-6A) and white with neon green accents (GA800SC-7A). A more compact version of the popular GA700, the new GA800 model features an easily accessible front button, super illuminator double LED light, 120 LAP memory, 3 hand analog-digital combination, dual time display, fully automatic calendar and hand retract function – all in a 48.6mm round case.

In addition, each model includes standard G-SHOCK technology of 200M water resistance and shock resistance, as well as a 1/100th second stopwatch and countdown timer.  

All models will retail for $99 beginning in December 2017. The DW5600-TB-1, DW5600TB-4A, DW5600TB-6, and DW5600TB-4B will be available for purchase at the G-SHOCK Soho Store and select fashion apparel boutiques, while the GA800SC-2A, GA800SC-6A and GA800SC-7A will be available for purchase at G-SHOCK retailers, including select Macy’s, www.gshock.com, and the G-SHOCK Soho Store.
