PALO ALTO, Calif.– January 4th 2018 – DisplayLink, the leading provider of USB graphics technology, today announced a new driver package that makes it simple for IT departments to instantly deploy DisplayLink software across all the computers in an organization.

Available to network administrators on the DisplayLink website, the MSI installer allows departments to leverage their existing group policy infrastructure to place DisplayLink software onto every device in the enterprise automatically, without end-user intervention. This not only offers an efficient, cost-effective method to roll out the productivity benefits of DisplayLink solutions company-wide, but is also the most consistent and reliable way to customize installations and update applications.

DisplayLink’s unique USB graphics technology works on any device and any operating system and is used to power USB monitors, universal docks, and USB projectors from globally-recognized brands. Its universality carries important advantages by enabling corporations to support everything from legacy computers to cutting-edge platforms and even employee-owned devices (BYODs). Together with future-proofing via resolution scalability from below 1080p all the way up to multi-4K displays, infrastructure investment is simplified and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to organizations is reduced.

“When organizations pass a certain size, centralizing deployments and managing software upgrades become critical to its successful day-to-day operations. For growing businesses or large enterprises DisplayLink has guides and tools to allow software to be deployed centrally using standard MSI and SCCM configuration suites with which IT are familiar,” said John Cummins, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at DisplayLink. “The ability for IT administrators to standardize one docking solution across an organization to support any of the various devices used by the workforce, then instantly deploy the latest DisplayLink software company-wide offers powerful cost, time and output advantages.”

DisplayLink offers an easy-to-follow user guide for IT administrators seeking to deploy the new Corporate Installer.
