January 2, 2018… Houston, TX — DriveAssist Technologies, premier supplier of safety and convenience products for the automotive aftermarket, will begin shipping their FullVue™ Rear View Monitor to select 12 volt specialists in the US and Canada this month. FullVue™ eliminates obstructions such as headrests, luggage and passengers and increases the field of vision by an estimated 300% over traditional rear view mirrors.
“The FullVue™ mirror represents the state of the art in rear vision and comes in 2 High Definition sizes that display 1080P streaming video captured from a rear mounted digital camera and a built-in 1080P Dash Cam. FullVue™ employs a Quad Core CPU that allows recording from both cameras to an included SD card. The integrated Dash Cam has a G Sensor built in and features GPS for vehicle tracking and incident archiving even when parked overnight said Bob Goodman, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The touch screen allows the user to move the image up or down to adjust the view angle for parking and towing use. The DVR recording is continuous with resolution up to 1080P, the built in G-Sensor initiates event archiving in case of an accident or other incident and is stored on the supplied 8GB Micro SD Card with a maximum of 64GB. Included is a universal mount and vehicle specific mounting solutions for those requiring it are available separately. The user may also easily toggle between mirror and video display when desired”, says Goodman.
