San Francisco, CA – January 8, 2018 – Elgato today announced its second generation of Eve Room, an indoor sensor with HomeKit technology that tracks air quality, temperature and humidity. Built upon the latest sensor technology from market-leading Swiss manufacturer Sensirion, Eve Room now features an E-Ink display, a built-in battery that can be charged via any USB power source, and an elegant aluminum housing with curved contours. And like all Eve products, the sensor works right out of the box, eliminating the need to spend extra on a bridge device or starter pack. Eve Room will be available in March 2018 for USD $99.95.

“The new Eve Room is another example of Elgato taking HomeKit accessories to the next level,” said Markus Fest, CEO of Elgato. “Not only is Eve Room more convenient because of its E-Ink display and sleek, wireless design, but it also has greater accuracy thanks to Sensirion’s latest generation sensor technology.”

Taking advantage of Apple’s revolutionary HomeKit technology, Eve Room offers unparalleled ease of use, advanced security, and tight integration with Siri. It is powered by a built-in battery that can be charged from any USB power source. And, thanks to cutting-edge Bluetooth Low Energy technology, Eve Room boasts truly wireless, energy-efficient operation.
