RCA Expands Home Security Line with Indoor/Outdoor Multi-Camera Kits and Continued Free

Las Vegas – Booth #13506 – January 9, 2018 – RCA, one of the most established consumer electronics brands with more than 90 years in the marketplace, continues to expand its new home security line at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show. Expanding the line with two new HD Security and DVR Systems, the new products join the recently launched Wi-Fi Video Doorbell and Indoor Security Camera.

The Ultra-Pro Series HD Home Security and DVR System includes four 3MP HD cameras and a 2TB DVR system to record footage at no extra monthly storage charge. The state-of-the-art monitoring technology provides easy setup and installation, while allowing users the ability to adjust the camera to their desired viewing angle with 50 percent higher resolution than the 1080P camera. The cameras allow for full-house monitoring both indoor and outdoor, with external anti-corrosive alloy and an IP66 rating. Additionally, the 84-degree wide-angle field of view provides even more coverage area per camera with fewer dead zones, fully covering each desired space of users’ homes.

“RCA has been in consumer homes for close to a century, so it only made sense to develop a Security and Smart Home solution that will help monitor those homes and families,” said Ian Geise, President of RCA Consumer Accessories. “The RCA line provides convenience and peace of mind for an active family and household, all from one app.”

The RCA HD Home Security and DVR System comes equipped with night vision up to 100 feet and light correcting abilities, both enabling better image viewing in difficult light situations, ensuring user video quality is always at its best. Additionally, Smart Intrusion Detection allows for users to custom set motion zones for each camera’s view, drastically reducing unwanted alerts from natural moving elements. Compatible with both iOS and Android, the free RCA Home Security app is available in the App Store and on Google play and allows users to view each camera from a smart home or tablet.

RCA is also launching a cost-saving HD Security and DVR System equipped with four 1080P cameras and a 1TB DVR. Both systems integrate an exclusive RCA 4X (H.265+) High Efficiency Compression Video feature, which provides up to four times video content storage with no monthly fees. And, each system can record from up to eight cameras simultaneously (additional cameras sold separately).  Both systems allow users to view live or recorded video on mobile devices using the RCA Security app or a compatible browser on PC.

The new products will be available Spring 2018. Media attending the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show can demo them at Voxx Accessories Corporation, Central Hall 13506. For more information, go to www.RCAaudiovideo.com or contact nicolebrandfon@maxborgesagency.com
