Rydeen Mobile Electronics announced at CES a new microwave blindspot detection system that works on vehicles with metal bumpers.

The new “The Bar,” blind spot detector has an adjustable slot for mounting to the base of a license plate frame, so there’s no need to drill into bumpers.

Called the BSS1 LPB, the detector follows Rydeen’s BSS1 microwave based blind spot system that mounts inside rear plastic bumpers.

The new “The Bar” will be on display at Rydeen booth #3307 North Hall at CES in Las Vegas this week.
