ECCO (Electronic Connector Co.) completes purchase of ShrinkMate® conductive shielding heat shrink product line

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ECCO (Electronic Connector Co.) a leading interconnect solutions provider, announced that it has completed the purchase of all assets for the heat shrink shielding product line formerly known as ShrinkMate®.

“ECCO has acquired the ShrinkMate® product line, the manufacturing processes, inventory and related equipment to produce this shielding heat shrink. These products are used by companies in Military, Aerospace, Defense, Communications, Industrial, and Medical industries whose applications are sensitive to electrical interference and noise preventing good signal quality,” states Bernard Gizzi, President.

“Since purchasing ECCO in March of 2012, we have continually sought to expand our product portfolio and transform our offering from legacy products to more relevant offerings that are used in more applications providing greater customer value.” Their VP of Operations Kevin Hayes goes on to add “With our recent AS9100D certification and our commitment to building highly reliable and superior products, the opportunity to carry on and expand the ShrinkMate® product line is an additional value add offering we could not pass up.
