New Integrative Communications Technology Provides Full Connectivity for FirstNet First Responder Network

Sunrise, FL—July 11, 2018—There continues to be excitement surrounding the national deployment of the FirstNet first responder network and Agile Interoperable Solutions (AIS),www.aisinterop.com, the leading provider of interoperable communications solutions, continues adding to its product offerings in support of and compatible with FirstNet / Band 14. All AIS technologies expand the ability to provide integrated communications solutions under the harshest of circumstances and with all providers.

“FirstNet is based on the philosophy of providing a dedicated First Responder Network. Our products are the perfect solution for providing the one missing ingredient, full connectivity, and have been FirstNet compatible since their development,” said AIS CEO Vernon Guillermo.  “We can provide the necessary connections to the outside world.”

AIS created a full product line that solves connectivity issues, both simple and complex, posed by the mission critical first responder mobile environment. AIS products include CORE (Common Operating Radio Engine), Mobile CORE and CORE Patrol and all are FirstNet (Band 14) compatible. Essentially, AIS products are future proof as they are capable of working with any cellular carrier, the company calls it “carrier agnostic,” and are ready to be deployed immediately with FirstNet.

The company’s flagship product is the Mobile CORE. The Mobile CORE was designed specifically for public safety.  It is a cellular gateway with four (4) channels of LTE, Wi-Fi and it is encased in a rugged enclosure. Mobile CORE is the world’s first mobile cellular gateway with the capability to run one (1) to four (4) different SIM cards and unlimited virtual SIMs from the remote SIM library. SIMs from different carriers maybe used simultaneously and “bond” the data stream to create greater bandwidth.

Proprietary software allows AIS to bond the data streams or set a failover procedure depending on the needs of the end-user. Built into the software is auto-detection that maintains session persistence and maximum data throughput. Even if one of the carriers loaded on to the device does not have a signal, the other carriers will still work.

Mobile CORE distinguishes itself by providing secure, high capacity, long range and integrated Wi-Fi. The integrated Wi-Fi turns the mobile office into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Between the onboard RJ-45 ports and the integrated Wi-Fi, any device may be connected to Mobile CORE. Two options for wireless connectivity are available, Wi-Fi and cellular broadband.

Today’s “Public Safety Mobile Office” (PSAP) requires a strong, persistent wireless connection. Until recently, existing networks and devices were unable to carry the heavy load that day to day traffic and video required. The full line of AIS products enables all first responders and others responsible for protecting life and property to utilize existing networks to deploy the wide variety of mobile office tools that are available and required.
