The Audyssey Lower East Side Audio Air Dock is one of the quality products offered by audio company Audyssey. Their audio technology is found in multiple devices and everything from your home theater system to your automobile to IMAX. With their technology in so many products, you know your getting a superior product that you can use for years.
The Audio Air Dock is the newest version of the Audio Dock. This speaker system gives you two options to listen to your music. If you are a Apple fan, or like to stream music from your computer, you can sync your phone/pod/computer via AirPlay and listen to your music wirelessly. If you prefer to use a Android/BB/Windows phone or any other MP3 player there is a 3.5mm audio jack.
DESIGN:
The design of the Audio Air Dock is very minimalistic. The device is square with covered speakers on either side. All buttons/ports/lights are recessed and on the center of the device for a nice, clean look. On the front is the port for the 3.5mm headphone jack. This gives you the ability to listen to your music through headphones. Up top you have a rotary knob for power/volume. There is also a power light and a status light for AirPlay. On the rear of the device there is AirPlay Pair button, Aux 3.5mm input, and the Power Plug. On the bottom there is also a USB port for Firmware upgrades.
SOUND:
If you remember from my review of the LES Media Speakers, I was very impressed with the sound quality and clarity of the music that emanated from the speakers. The Audio Air Dock is no exception to that. This speaker system is perfect for small to moderate rooms. The AirDock filled up the rooms in my house with warm, properly reproduced music. The sound is created by (2) .75in tweeters, (2) 3in woofers, and (2) 4in passive bass radiators.

OVERVIEW:
The Audyssey Lower East Side Audio Air Dock is a great addition to the Lower East Side Family of products. The accurate sound reproduction from the tweeters, the soul reaffirming thump from the bass, and ease of setup with either AirPlay or 3.5mm audio cable make this a great speaker system to have for any room of your home or office.
MSRP from the Audyssey Website is $399.99 or $356.97 from Amazon.com. Head over, check out the other reviews and compare. You may find other speakers cheaper, but I bet you will have a hard time finding this quality or a company with the background Audyssey has.
