Hands On: Perseus Case For Kindle Fire By Trident

Perseus Case

Nothing is worse than finally getting your Kindle Fire and then dropping it or scratching the screen. Thanks to the wonderful people over at Trident Cases, you can get their Perseus case and screen protector in one package to give you the protection you require and the protection your device deserves. Keep reading to see what I thought of this case and if it’s worth the money.

Devices today are costing more and more. Why wouldn’t you want to spend a little now to protect your investment. The Perseus case gives you both screen protection and a silicone case that not only adds drop protection but also allows you to have a firm grip on your device.

The Perseus Case is Trident’s light duty case. Made from shock absorbing silicon it is great for light bumps, scratches, and debris. The Perseus Case weight is 0.70 lbs. Included in the package is a screen protector that is scratch resistant. The screen protector can be installed by anyone and is fairly easy to make sure there are no bubbles. Since it seems that no matter what way you drop your Kindle it will always strike the ground on the corner, Trident has doubled the silicone protection on there to give you that extra little level of security during accidental drops.

The Perseus case fits snuggly onto the Kindle Fire without slipping or sliding. There is a large opening that makes it easy to plug and unplug the Kindle Fire for charging. One of the downsides to the Kindle Fire was the fact that the speakers are top facing, not front facing. Trident has solved this problem with the addition of 2 channels on the top of the case that take the sound from the speakers and port them out the front towards the user. This makes the Kindle easier to hear and actually makes the sound slightly louder.

The Perseus Case from Trident costs $29.99 USD for the Kindle Fire ( also most other 7″ tablets) and around $14.95 for phones. This is an excellent case for those of you who are looking for a colorful way to protect your phone or tablet. The Perseus Case comes in 8 different colors and is available from TRIDENTCASE.COM
