Brandmotion Expands Rear View Line for Silverado, Sierra

BM1005-1015

SOUTHFIELD, MICH. — December 30, 2013 (SDG MEDIAWIRE) – Brandmotion introduced two new kits during the November Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show to complete its safety line for the 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. The Michigan-based supplier of Authentic OEM™ collision avoidance and convenience products was first to ship an aftermarket rear vision system for the popular trucks.

“Our dealers were excited when we were first to introduce a quality aftermarket rear view solution with the 9002-1010 kit,” said Brandmotion President Jeff Varick. “It works with OnStar-equipped vehicles and matches the factory version feature for feature. Dealers have also asked us to expand and diversify the kit, and we’ve done so with the 9002-1015 and 9002-1005.”

Both the 9002-1015 and 9002-1005 feature the same Authentic OEM™ Magna Corp. camera as in the 9002-1010, embedded in a factory-equivalent replacement tailgate handle and bezel assembly. The kits are ideal for select versions of the trucks that do not come with rear vision from the factory, such as Base, 1WT and 2WT trim packages, and some models of the LT package.

The lower cost 9002-1015 is designed to fit Silverado and Sierra WT work trucks and includes a mirror / monitor assembly intended to replace factory mirrors without OnStar controls or an auto-dimming mirror surface. The mirror features a 3.5-inch TFT color monitor that displays from behind the surface when the truck is in reverse gear, and a factory style harness that plugs directly into the existing mirror connector.

The 9002-1005 is a standalone OEM camera solution that connects to any aftermarket monitor or mirror / monitor that is equipped with a composite (RCA-type) connector.

The entire Silverado / Sierra product line is now available and shipping to Brandmotion dealers. Authorized dealers can access and download a sell sheet for each kit, as well as sales tools and information on many more Brandmotion products, by logging into the Brandmotion Dealer Central website at dealer.brandmotion.com.
