SOUTHFIELD, MICH. – February 13, 2014 (SDG MEDIAWIRE) – Brandmotion, premier provider of Authentic OEM™ components for the aftermarket, has announced it is shipping three Rear View products for the Jeep Wrangler. The kits, which are currently only available in the aftermarket from Brandmotion, enable installation of a rear view camera on models from 1997 to 2014.

“Rear vision on the Jeep Wrangler has been a sought-after solution for some time,” said Jeff Varick, president of Brandmotion. “It’s something our dealers and expediters have requested from us, and we are excited to provide not just one, but three solutions to the aftermarket.”

Brandmotion’s Rear Vision kits for the Jeep Wrangler all include an OEM-validated Panasonic camera that provides superior clarity and image width. The camera is affixed to a specially designed bracket that allows it to ‘peek’ through the spokes of the mounted spare tire.

Part No. 9002-8826 (MSRP $699.95), which is intended for vehicles without a screen, includes an Authentic OEM replacement mirror with a built-in, 3.5-inch color monitor. The mirror features auto dimming capability.

Part No. 9002-8827 (MSRP $649.95) is designed to interface directly with the factory radio / navigation display in the Jeep Wrangler. The kit comes with a special programmer that temporarily plugs into the vehicle’s OBD2 port (On-Board Diagnostics) and codes the display to work with the camera, eliminating the need to have the dealership involved in activation.

Part No. 9002-8828 (MSRP $299.95) is designed to interface with an aftermarket screen-equipped radio or monitor. It includes a composite video connection that plugs directly into a monitor’s RCA input.

Authorized dealers can access and download a sell sheet for the 3 kits, as well as sales tools and information on many more Brandmotion products, by logging into the Brandmotion Dealer Central website at dealer.brandmotion.com.
