New York, NY, February 4, 2014- Continuing its 166-year history of offering the Best, the Only and the Unexpected, Hammacher Schlemmer introduces The Snore Activated Nudging Pillow, a pillow that detects snoring and “nudges” a sleeper into shifting positions without the need for spousal intervention.

The Snore Activated Nudging Pillow has an integrated microphone that picks up the sonic vibrations of snoring and automatically inflates an internal air bladder 3″—just enough to roust a sleeper into moving his or head to ameliorate snoring.

“The Snore Activated Nudging Pillow encourages one to change sleeping positions immediately after the first snore, reducing the chances that prolonged snoring will wake your partner,” explained Hammacher Schlemmer’s General Manager Fred Berns.

The pillow has a 30-minute delay setting that allows one to fall asleep without triggering inflation, the microphone’s sensitivity can be adjusted for light or heavy snoring, and it automatically deflates back to original thickness.

The Snore Activated Nudging Pillow’s contoured shape provides optimal head positioning for ameliorating snoring while providing comfortable loft with a 100% polyurethane fill that cradles the head for blissful sleep. Its 100% polyester cover removes easily for machine washing.

The Snore Activated Nudging Pillow is available from Hammacher Schlemmer for $149.95.
