INTRAPHEX Unveils Voice Recognition Navigation & Backup Camera Solution for GM Infotainment Screens

P1N-GM11

Clearwater, FL (February 25, 2014) – INTRAPHEX (www.intraphex.com) – an industry leader in 12-volt OEM integration and mobile electronics interfaces – today introduced the new P1N-GM11 navigation and backup camera solution. Made specifically for use with 7-inch GM infotainment screens found in late model Chevrolet (MYLINK), GMC and Buick (INTELLILINK) vehicles, the INTRAPHEX P1N-GM11 is a stand-alone, 100% plug-n-play solution that allows the addition of an integrated GPS navigation system and backup camera directly to the OEM display.

The GPS navigation software in the P1N-GM11 hosts a wide array of features, including voice recognition, 12-million points of interest, Google-connected search, 3D building imagery and 3D terrain. Powered by IGO Primo navigation software and Nuance, the innovative new voice recognition input allows the user to speak address and waypoint entries for a hands-free navigation experience. The user can deliver navigation commands and prompts via the vehicle’s factory audio system for seamless integration experience.

The P1N-GM11 also introduces an Intelliflip function that facilitates automatic switching between navigation and factory radio controls. When the user initiates Intelliflip, the P1N-GM11 will automatically switch to the factory radio controls after a set period with no input or command from the GPS.  Upon receiving an audible command, or a prompt from the GPS system, the screen automatically switches back to the navigation system. This allows the navigation to run seamlessly in the background, while only being displayed for the user during commands and prompts along the route.

Additionally, the P1N-GM11 offers the ability to add a backup camera to applicable vehicles that do not come with a factory installed backup camera system. The P1N-GM1 backup camera solution features on screen dynamic parking assist lines that move side to side with the input of the steering wheel to display the projected path behind the vehicle.

All INTRAPHEX products come with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty and all IGO Primo navigation software is updateable at any time from a user-friendly online portal. The P1N-GM11 plug-n-play navigation and backup camera solution is shipping now.  Please contact an INTRAPHEX or AAMP of America sales representative for more information.
