iPhone Becomes Motion-Tracking Video Camera

Galileo

Santa Cruz, Calif. – March 4, 2014 – Motrr, bringing high design robotics to everyday life, and Appologics, the specialist in mobile video, have teamed up to streamline the process of shooting HD videos and photography handsfree. Videography is the ultimate app for novice and expert camera enthusiasts, allowing users to control every camera function remotely while simultaneously watching the camera’s view in Full-HD from another browser. When mounted in a Motrr Galileo – a 360° robotic spinning platform for iPhone/iPod – users can not only pan/tilt their cameras remotely, Videography will even follow objects (ie faces), motion or colored objects automatically to keep them in the center of the view. Watch how motion tracking works here.

“Apple’s iPhone is continuing to grow as the digital camera choice among consumers, and we’re constantly expanding our partnerships with app developers to introduce innovative new ways to capture and share content,” said Jasper Eisenberg, Marketing Manager at Motrr. “Leveraging Videography’s motion tracking capabilities, Galileo automatically pans and tilts enabling users to capture fluid shots with seamless precision.”

“Videography offers all the features you’d expect from a professional camera, and pairing it with the Galileo allows users to capture footage without the hassle of standing behind the camera,” said Heiko Straulino, Founder of Appologics. “Galileo will automatically detect and follow objects, motion or specific colors that the user designates, great for capturing your 1-year-old’s birthday party, recording your professor’s lecture as he walks around the classroom, and so much more. The day-to-day applications are endless.”
