Fremont, Calif. – September 5, 2017 – Today EPI, the leading technology company and brand license partner for Philips monitors, announces the new 276E8FJAB, a 27-inch Philips QHD LCD display with Philips’ Ultra Wide-Color Technology. This brilliant Crystalclear QHD display offers crisp images with the richest and most vivid colors on an elegant display for incredible creations.

The 276E8FJAB display features Philips’ Ultra Wide-Color technology to deliver a wider spectrum of colors for a more brilliant picture. The IPS panel produces a wider color gamut, producing more natural-looking greens, vivid reds and deeper blues. Media entertainment, images and productivity come more alive with this technology. The display also features an untra-narrow border, allowing for minimal distractions and maximum viewing size. This makes it especially suited for multi-display or tiling setups.

The monitor uses IPS panel technology, which gives users extra-wide viewing angles of 178/178 degrees, making it possible to view the display from almost any angle. Unlike standard TN panels, IPS displays give users remarkably crisp images making it ideal for entertainment as well as professional applications, which demand color accuracy and consistent brightness at all times.

Additionally, the display comes with other Philips’ technologies including Philips Flicker-free technology, SmartContrast and SmartImage Lite. Philips Flicker-free technology regulates brightness and reduces flicker to relieve eye fatigue and provide more comfortable viewing. SmartContrast detects the content on the display and automatically adjusts colors and backlight intensity to dynamically enhance contract for the best images, videos and games where dark hues are displayed. SmartImage Lite is an exclusive Philips technology that analyzes the content of the screen and dynamically enhances the contrast, color saturation and sharpness for ultimate display performance – all in real time.
