Why Finger Pow

Traditional charging means being chained to a wall socket every time we charge. Some high-capacity power banks are offered on the market, but one is just like the others. We shouldn’t sacrifice convenience for capacity. In addition, smartphone battery life decreases after just a year of use. The average user charges their phone 2-3 times a day. This can mean constantly searching for a socket, which is annoying! That’s why we bring in Finger Pow.

Finger Pow is a portable charging solution designed for a life on the move. Unlike wall sockets or other portable charger, Finger Pow simplifies the entire charging process, and offers unparalleled portability. It expands on the power bank concept by splitting into four independent charging packs which you can grab-and-go as needed. 

 

The core idea behind Finger Pow is to store electricity in small modular pieces. This combines four Charging Packs and the Charging Station, which can charge all four Charging Packs simultaneously while being itself a 5000mAh power bank. For our first tier of Kickstarter perks, we will instead include a simplified version of the Charging Station—the Charging Base. The Charging Base is functionally the same as the Charging Station but does not include the power bank function, increasing portability when necessary.

 

Based on the sizes of popular available smartphones, we’ve custom-built Finger Pow to optimize the user experience while providing extra battery power. The Charging Pack is just the size of a USB drive and it can provide iPhone 8 with 25% charge.

 

We believe in providing an optimal user experience, so we will be providing a keychain in our Kickstarter campaign. Users can attach the Charging Pack to the key chain and it’ll be completely unobtrusive until your battery needs that extra kick.

 

Moreover, we use a double magnetic connector to streamline the entire charging experience, which is the perfect solution to frayed charging cables, tripping hazards, and time wasted plugging-in. 

 

We also provide a magnetic charging cable for charging from USB ports, so you can still charge your phone from other power banks or wall socket. (The magnetic charging cable can only be used for charging, and does not support data synchronization or data transfer.)

Finger Pow will be available on Kickstarter beginning Nov 20, 2017. We will be offering two perk tiers: Pow Basic and Pow Plus. The charging base in Pow Basic does not include the power bank function, whereas the charging station in Pow Plus includes a 5000mAh battery that functions as a power bank.
