Infinity Kappa Speakers Set New Standard in Car Audio

STAMFORD, CN (10.03.2017) – HARMAN International has announced its new line of automotive multi-element speakers and component systems, Infinity Kappa. This new series delivers the ultimate expression of technology, performance and design to car audio enthusiasts.

Infinity Kappa speakers are engineered to fit more user applications and environments with a UniPivot tweeter that can be rotated 270-degrees after installation on most models, giving users the option to elevate the soundstage if the speaker is mounted low in a door. Featuring glass fiber cone architecture, the Patented Plus One woofers deliver tight, robust bass and high-output sound that is detailed and musical. The edge-driven textile dome tweeters with oversized voice coils support smooth, reliable highs with increased thermal power handling for high-volume enthusiasts.

An optional midrange speaker with bandpass crossover is available to upgrade the two-way component systems into three-way systems for increased performance. Every model in the Infinity Kappa line is individually tuned with outboard passive crossovers using audiophile grade inductors and capacitors, resulting in unmatched detail and accuracy. The 2-ohm design extracts every watt of power from the amplifier or head unit for exceptional performance. Outlined with a unique copper trim, the speakers look as good as they sound.

For years, Infinity Kappa has offered car audio enthusiasts superior loudspeaker and subwoofer solutions that deliver impeccable audio performance. Infinity speakers undergo a testing process that would destroy lesser speakers. Infinity freezes them, bakes them, shakes them, blasts them with ultraviolet light and drives them at full power for days at a time.

The Infinity Kappa speakers will be available for purchase Fall 2017 and are priced from $149.95 to $349.95.
