Epson Introduces OmniLink Multifunction POS Printer and Engages Visitors with In-Store Experience

NEW YORKJan. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Today, at NRF, National Retail Federation’s Annual Convention and ExpoEpson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, introduced the OmniLink® TM-H6000V multifunction thermal receipt printer. The solution will be demonstrated in a fully functional grocery checkout lane as part of the Epson booth. Visitors can enjoy an interactive transaction experience using their mobile devices. The company also announced it has added two Iconex media solutions to its list of tested media for the TM-L90 Plus LFC Thermal Label Printers and will demonstrate additional POS solutions for the retail and hospitality markets along with partners as well.

Epson OmniLink TM-H6000V — is ideal for retailers who want to enhance the overall transaction experience for their customers. NRF attendees can experience the new solution in a real-life fully functional grocery checkout lane at Epson’s booth. Using their mobile devices or traditional POS, they can scan and check out their items and print receipts in real time with Epson’s new hybrid multifunction receipt printer.

Diebold Nixdorf — a kiosk, POS Systems and ATM provider, will be showing how it leverages Epson’s TM-L90 Plus-i LFC KDS Multi-Station KDS Controllers with its self-service Kiosk. The joint solution is beneficial for Quick Service Restaurants providing easy self-service ordering for its customers, KDS for the kitchen, and sticky receipts for food labeling.
