KDX to Present its Latest Innovative Technologies and Highlights at CES
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — From January 9 to 12, 2018, the world’s most influential consumer electronics event CES will be held in Las Vegas. CES 2018 will display cutting-edge technology products attracting 3,900 companies and over 170,000 visitors. KDX, an emerging leader in the smart display technology industry will set up a 230m2 booth (No.: 35205) for the display of its latest innovative technologies in the south No. 4 hall at CES 2018.
At CES 2018, KDX will officially release its “3D+” strategy, launch its Simulated Reality (SR) technology mixed with its glasses-free 3D display technology, environment space perception technology, man-machine interactive integration and artificial intelligence (AI), and display its new retail and commerce solutions integrated with emerging display and AI technologies, giving global consumers a thrilling interactive technology show. The world’s leading technologies like mixed reality (MR), VR and AR are on the rise. KDX’s new upgrades to such technologies will give blockbuster news at CES 2018 and deliver an incomparable show to the global consumers.
How SR technology upgrades AR/VR/MR
Apple has applied 3D modeling in the newly launched iPhone X, Google launched Tango modeling and AR Core and Samsung released glasses-free 3D laptops based on KDX’s 3D display technology. The inclusion of 3D modeling by several global technology giants highlights the future for 3D video and the continued expansion of the AR/VR/MR industries.
Mixed reality (MR) is best described in a Chinese tale from Zhuangzi (Chuang-tzu) Dreaming of a Butterfly, where reality and illusion are indistinguishable. In the tale, Zhuangzi enters into a dream, where he is a butterfly and enjoys the momentary dream where he is happily a butterfly, but soon awakes to discover he is a man again, despite waking as a man, he faced the conundrum to determine was he dreaming as a butterfly or was he dreaming as a man. His tale has served in Taoism as the method to better understand reality and illusion.
KDX’s development of SR is to push traditional boundaries between reality and illusion with the use of technology. By freeing users of some of the common physical objects (3D glasses for example) to fully enjoy the experience.
At CES 2018, KDX will also showcase its SR technology in the three application scenarios.
Presenting the latest 3D display technology results in glasses-free 3D mobiles with 2D/3D-compatible K2 technology, tablets and laptops with 2D/3D-switchable K3 technology and 65“ glasses-free 3D advisement players. The world’s first glasses-free 3D laptop “Pupil 3D” developed jointly by KDX and Samsung will also be presented at CES. This product provides an excellent experience in performance, 3D effects, transparency, 3D content and other aspects.
Emerging displays and AI technology a benefit for business
Issues like low efficiency, high cost and poor service quality are issues faced by the retail and traditional businesses. To mitigate these, Kangde Group’s Internet tech company KDXC has established a cloud user aggregation and operation platform in support of its leading 3D display and large touchscreen technologies in combination with its smart software and AI systems.
KDXC will present its new-generation LOHO magic mirror (TC10). The high-tech smart product can interact, perceive, think and has both “wisdom” and “design”. Its magical functions and application scenarios will be unveiled at CES.
KDXC’s smart vending system is customized for the needs of consumers today. The system is based on KDX’s leading large touchscreen technology, IoT technology and AI system and can integrate retail, media and provide smooth operations for consumers.
How large touchscreen technology is embraced across industries
