MELVILLE, N.Y.Jan. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that its valued customer, PrintMailPro, with locations in Dallasand Austin, has added industry-leading inkjet technology to its production fleet with the installation of the Océ ColorStream 3700 full color high speed inkjet printer. The new addition puts PrintMailPro at the forefront of inkjet opportunities, giving the Texas direct mail leader unprecedented print versatility.

Built on a long family tradition of excellence and expansion, PrintMailPro continues to be recognized as an esteemed full-service printing, direct mail marketing, and variable data statement processing provider throughout its region. Managing everything from data processing and list management, to printing and inserting, PrintMailPro offers a vast range of solutions to its customers, without ever becoming stagnant – innovation and immersion are critical elements of the direct mail provider’s sustained success.

With that willingness to accept innovation in the industry, PrintMailPro most recently evaluated the heightened efficiencies and advancement of inkjet technologies, and determined the time was now to not only pursue it, but build around it. Coming from a mostly offset shell with laser overprint environment, PrintMailPro’s leaders began to recognize an increased need for flexibility – specifically with transactional print jobs – while concurrently recognizing the need to produce more variable data jobs in color. These growing needs pushed PrintMailPro to the point of engagement with Canon Solutions America’s Production Print Solutions division. What followed was the acquisition of the Océ ColorStream 3700 color inkjet printer, and newfound print application versatility.

“As we were already a happy Canon Solutions America customer, the decision to evolve with them and adopt their inkjet technology was a no brainer and a seamless transition,” said Shelley Hyde, co-owner of PrintMailPro and head of the Dallas division, formerly known as NDSI direct solutions. “The installation of the ColorStream has not only generated excitement internally, but externally as well as we continue to introduce its dynamic capabilities to our customers.”

One of those key capabilities – the capacity to produce high speed, high volume variable personalization jobs – was paramount to PrintMailPro’s decision. Equally important to the company’s business decision is the production and media flexibility of the Océ ColorStream Series. This enhancement to PrintMailPro’s fleet contributes to a future-proof system that helps simplify the transition of applications and business models to more sophisticated documents with variable personalization and smarter communication in color.

Additionally, the Océ ColorStream 3700 inkjet press offers customers like PrintMailPro productivity and flexibility for high-speed color and monochrome production of transaction, TransPromo, direct mail, postcards, book and manual applications with the reliability, print quality and media range associated with industry-leading Canon and Océ technology.

“With a wide variety of clients and jobs – everything from B2B statement invoicing to direct marketing collateral – we needed a flexible inkjet printing system that could allow us to adapt our printing mode to our steady transition to color in a seamless way,” affirmed Keith Daboub, co-owner and President of PrintMailPro. “We are now working with more responsive technology that saves time, money, labor, and waste. As we see it, the Océ ColorStream is just the beginning of our inkjet investments.”

Adding another dynamic to PrintMailPro’s investment is the advancements in workflow efficiencies made possible by the ColorStream. Now with a white-paper-in, full-color-out high volume workflow and the ability to group different jobs on the same paper, PrintMailPro is experiencing unprecedented productivity across its array of output.

“There’s no doubt that we are improving profitably as a result of heightened workflow efficiencies and developing an expanded suite of offerings that enable both current and new applications,” added Hyde. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with Canon Solutions America and finding new ways to expand our business across different industries.”
