ESCORT Radar and Mid City Engineering Announce OEM Integration of the MAX Ci and MAX Ci 360 into Mercedes, Audi, Porsche and more

LONG BEACH, Calif.Feb. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — ESCORT, the leader in premium radar and laser detection technology, and Mid City Engineering, a leading national provider specializing in OEM integration for premium vehicles, today announced OEM integration of the ESCORT MAX Ci and MAX Ci 360, as well as the new ESCORT iX Ci, through the new Mid City Engineering interface, available now.  This new interface will enable direct alert information across all instrument clusters with full steering wheel controls. The new interface along with all three ESCORT custom install systems will be on display at KnowledgeFest- Long Beach in booth #316, February 23 – 25, 2018.

The new OEM interface from Mid City Engineering will allow the alerts detected from the ESCORT MAX Ci 360 and MAX Ci to be displayed in the OEM instrument cluster across multiple pages and menus, including heads-up displays.  Through the interface, drivers will be able to have full steering wheel controls of the ESCORT detection systems including menu access, display preferences, mute, mark location, volume sensitivity and other settings.  It will also include programmable display preferences including digital speedometer.  The Mid City Engineering interface is available now for Mercedes Benz, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar and Jeep Grand Cherokee with more manufacturers being added in the coming weeks.

Designed to be seamlessly integrated into the vehicle, the ESCORT iX Ci and ESCORT MAX Ci feature long range and advance range front radar protection against all radar speed monitoring devices, with the ability to add on additional rear radar as well as front and rear laser shifter for a unique and completely custom installation.  The ESCORT MAX Ci 360 includes both front and rear radar receivers as well as front and rear laser shifters for complete 360 degrees for driver alert awareness with directional threat warning.

The ESCORT MAX Ci and MAX Ci 360 are available now through Authorized Escort Specialist Retailers. The ESCORT iX Ci will be available in April 2018.  The ESCORT Ci line of products range from $1,499.95to $3,599.95 before installation.  The OEM interface is available now for $449 directly from Mid City Engineering.
