SMARTenna+ Equipped with Active Steering Technology Now Shipping

More and more U.S. broadband households are cutting the cord and turning to antennas for TV content – up to 20 percent in 2017 according to two recent reports from  Parks Associates.

Channel Master has developed the world’s first indoor TV antenna with Active Steering technology to analyze TV signals to deliver the most channels with the highest possible quality.

SMARTenna+ houses seven different “virtual” TV antennas inside a single device. The internal processor analyzes the TV signals and automatically selects the best reception pattern to deliver the maximum number of channels and the best signal quality.

And SMARTenna+ eliminates the inconvenience of repositioning the antenna to pick up new channels. Instead, with SMARTenna+, you simply push a button to find additional channels and the premium push-on connectors eliminate the need to screw on the coax cable to the antenna.  Suggested retail price is $89.

One user from Boise, Idaho said SMARTenna+ replaced his powered antenna and was “a significant improvement.” He said he was able to watch a dozen more channels and “1080p never looked better!”

A user in Tacoma, Washington had issues with certain stations pixelating and dropping, but since installing the SMARTenna+, “It appears that the SMARTenna+ has solved this problem. In addition, I am now receiving a couple of channels that I was not able to receive in the past with other antennas.”

And in Edinboro, Pennsylvania a user had limited reception, but with SMARTenna+, “I am very pleased.  I am able to get all of the local channels again.”
