Unigroup Spreadtrum & RDA Collaborates with Senwa Mobile on High-performance Smartphones based on SC9853I

SHANGHAIMarch 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Unigroup Spreadtrum & RDA, a world’s leading fabless semiconductor company with advanced technology in mobile communications and IoT, today announced that two high-performance smartphones powered by SC9853I, the Senwa Mobile LS9718 and LS9918, were released at the Mobile World Congress2018 in Barcelona, Spain.

Built on Intel’s 14nm foundry platform, Spreadtrum SC9853I features 1.8GHz octa-core 64-bit Airmont architecture based processor and boasts a high-performance mobile computing ability coupled with ultra-low power consumption.

The jointly released mobile phones, Senwa LS9718 and LS9918, are 4G Cat.7 version supporting VoLTE, ViLTE and VoWifi services, precisely focused on the increased entry luxury needs of smartphone consumption in Latin American markets. Based on Android 8.1 operating system, both models aim to provide consumers with an economic solution with a premium user experience. The LS9718 is a model featuring 5.7 18:9 HD+ IPS screen, double 16+8 MP AF main camera with LED Flash and low light performance, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and battery capacity of 3000mAh. The LS9918 is a premium version with 5.99 18:9 IPS HD+ screen, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, double 16+8 MP AF main camera LED Flash. It also features a battery of 3000mAh, supporting the finger print and USB OTG technologies as well.
