Bend, Ore. – NavPod, the leading manufacturer of waterproof housings for marine electronics, announced today there is a NavPod for every chartplotter and fishfinder available in the industry. The company now offers over 1,000 precuts to fit multifunction displays from all major marine electronic manufacturers. The complete product line includes the latest releases such as the Lowrance HDS Carbon, Raymarine Axiom Pro, Humminbird SOLIX and Garmin’s 42x Series.

Ideal for inland fishing and offshore power boat installations, PowerPods are better than bracket mounting. Very sturdy and secure, yet clean and attractive, this mount protects fishfinder/chartplotters from the harshest of wet boating conditions. PowerPods feature a swivel base, incorporate stainless steel tamperproof screws providing added security from theft, and are available in high gloss white or carbon fiber finish.

PedestalPods, designed for the bow of inland fishing boats, conveniently positions displays 20 inches off the deck at a 45-degree angle for ease of viewing while fishing. This allows anglers to easily reach and access the fishfinder/chartplotter for changes to range, zoom or even to control the trolling motor.

Designed to resist impacts, vibration and moisture ingress, PowerPods and PedestalPods are crafted with a thick gauge, UV-stable acrylic capped ABS material and are built specifically with structural rigidity in mind. Like all NavPods, they are also manufactured with a double gasket system that provide an excellent watertight seal to keep spray off electrical connections ensuring the reliability and longevity of marine electronics. PowerPods and PedestalPods are also available with RAM Mounts to provide additional versatility and an almost infinite number of mounting options for compatability with all kinds of vessels.

“We are proud to give boaters the ability to choose the latest multifunction displays from all of the major marine electronics manufacturers without compromising on the unparalleled protection our NavPods offer,” said Rob Walsh, president and owner, Ocean Equipment. “As chartplotters and fishfinders are released from top manufacturers of marine electronics, we continually expand our product line to accommodate the new models. NavPods offer boat owners the security and convenience they need to ensure their investment is well taken care of for years to come.”

NavPod backs its commitment to quality by offering a 10-year warranty on all Gen3 NavPods. PowerPods and PedestalPods can be purchased through a nationwide network of marine electronics dealers, national retailers and wholesale distributors.
