MSI Brings Gaming and Professional Innovations with New Products at Computex Taipei 2018

Taipei, Taiwan – June 4, 2018 – MSI, a world leader in gaming hardware, continues to build on its critically-acclaimed gaming hardware with the announcement of several brand-new products at COMPUTEX 2018. MSI reveals its new laptops, desktops, monitors, components and gaming peripherals with premium builds and robust specifications at booth L0818.

MSI has a variety of new products on display at the show. The lineup is headlined by the affordable, thin-and-light GF63 gaming laptop, elegant PS42 notebook, ultra-slim PRO 24X All-In-One desktop, redesigned Trident A series and the blistering fast 240Hz monitors with NVIDIA G-SYNC. MSI is also presenting the B450 TOMAHAWK motherboard, GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X TRIO graphics card and Vigor GK80 gaming keyboard.

MSI Makes Thin and Light Gaming Accessible to the Mainstream Gamer with the GF63

MSI is proud to debut the new GF63 gaming laptop at Computex 2018. The 15.6-inch laptop features a near bezel-less panel that weighs less than 4.4lbs. The GF63 features an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 Processor, up to a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics and more than seven hours of battery life. With its slim chassis, competent gaming power and affordable price point, MSI has made portable thin-and-light gaming more accessible than ever before.

MSI Presents Uncompromised Performance in an Elegant Chassis with the PS42

As the newest member of MSI’s Prestige series, the PS42 stands out from the gaming laptop series. Measuring just 0.63 inches thick and 2.6lbs, the PS42 packs up to an Intel 8th Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce discrete graphics into a slim elegant chassis. Like the GF63, the PS42 boasts a nearly bezel-free screen, impressive 10 hours of battery life and fingerprint sensor. The PS42 presents high performance in a simplistic and beautiful design.

PRO 24X All-In-One

The brand new All-In-One PC, PRO 24X series features an incredibly ultra-slim design measuring only 6.5mm thin. Its simple metallic stand complements the slim display, while its brushed metal rear cover provides a stylish and contemporary design. The PRO 24X is equipped with an IPS Grade panel that automatically optimizes the screen’s colors and brightness to ensure users can enjoy every scene at its best. Its narrow 2.2mm bezel allows it to blend seamlessly into any workspace and help users to focus on their professional tasks.

The PRO 24X features up to an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, Intel Optane technology, NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD compatibility and unlike traditional all-in-one PCs, it is easy to upgrade the 2.5-inch storage.

Trident A Series

Powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processors, the MSI Trident A series is the first compact desktop PC to incorporate a SFX power supply and MSI graphics card in a 12-liter case. Oculux Blistering Fast Gaming Monitors with 240Hz refresh rate, 0.5ms response time and NVIDIA G-SYNC

MSI’s new Oculux NXG251 series of gaming monitors feature a blistering fast 240Hz refresh rate, 0.5ms response time and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. The speed of this TN LED panel is ideal for fast-paced, competitive games. Additionally, the monitors have MSI Mystic Light Sync on the back so gamers can craft their RGB lighting to show off their personalities.

Curved Optix Gaming Monitors with MSI’s New Gaming Echo Technology

The Optix MAG271CR and MAG241CR are the first monitors to utilize MSI’s new Gaming Echo functionality. The RGB zones on the back of the monitor reacts to in-game audio and lighting effects. The monitor also features a 144Hz VA LED display and super-fast 1ms response time for a flawless and smooth gaming experience. The series also uses MSI’s Gaming On-Screen Display software that allows gamers to control the monitor’s settings including contrast ratio and brightness right from their Windows desktop. The app also supports hotkey options, so users can switch profiles while in-game.

B450 TOMAHAWK Motherboard

The new B450 TOMAHAWK motherboard was inspired by military design and uses a stronger and heavier design that is optimized for second generation AMD Ryzen Processors, with support for AMD processors in the AM4 platform. With an extended heatsink exclusive to MSI, the extended PWM and enhanced circuit design helps ensure incredible thermal performance for superior cooling to enable optimal performance from even the highest-end AMD Ryzen 7 processors. The B450 TOMAHAWK also includes a customizable sticker area that allows gamers to choose their favorite styles for the heatsink cover. AMD Native Turbo USB 3.1 Gen. 2 also offers high USB speeds with uninterrupted connectivity and stability.

MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X TRIO

The MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X TRIO features three award-winning TORX 2.0 fans and Mystic Light RGB, offering cool and quiet performance during gameplay. Together with military-class components, the top-tier card is guaranteed to boost the gaming experience.

Vigor GK80 GAMING Keyboard

Built on a tough and durable aluminum frame, the Vigor GK80 provides quality performance from its Cherry MX switches. The keyboard highlights the dedicated media keys for easy access to volume and music controls. Additionally, it comes with extra keycaps, which can be stored in the underside of the full-size wrist rest. The Vigor also features USB pass through and Mystic Light RGB lighting.
