What you get with the Sleep Sound Therapy, is the Sound Therapy machine, microUSB Power Cable, US and EU Power Plug, Instruction Manual, Instruction Manual, and 4GB microSD Card.

You have 2 options to  power your Sound Therapy machine, either the provided wall plug, or 4 AA batteries.

The Advanced Sleep Sound Therapy System is very easy to use. Once you insert batteries or plug it into the wall, you can start enjoying relaxing sounds. Just press the sound button, and the first sound on the microSD Card will start playing. If you want to choose one of the other 23 sounds on the card, just push the sound button until you get to the one you like.

There are a couple things that set the Sound Oasis Advanced Sleep Sound Therapy System apart from others you can get on the market. First you have a built in clock with alarm function. You get to options for the alarm clock. You can wake up to a wake up sound, or a chime. The sound can be any on the sound card. This sound will be the one you fell asleep too.  You don’t have an option to pick a seperate sound, other than the chime. The alarm comes with standard options like snooze and alarm on/off. The clock has a built in backlight. If you are using batteries, the light will stay on for 5 seconds. With the wall outlet,  you have 3 brightness levels, plus off.

When using the sounds to go to sleep, you have the option for the sound to play for 30, 60, or 90 minutes. When you get to the last 10 minutes of play time, the sound will gradually fade away. This avoids an abrupt stop that could wake you. If you don’t want the music to fade away, you can shut that function off.

The Sound Therapy System comes with a microSD card that is prefilled with 24 sounds that you can rotate through. If you want, you have the option to purchase more sounds from Sound Oasis. You can either download them an put them on a microSD card that you have, or you can purchase a new microSD card from Sound Oasis. Additional sound run around $3.99 to $4.99.

If you need this to help you sleep, but your partner doesn’t like the sound, there is also a 3.5mm headphone jack that you can plug in headphones so you can still get to sleep easier without bothering anyone else.

Only real downside that was found with the Sound Therapy System is that your only options for alarm are the sound you fell asleep too, or the beep. No option for a different sound than sleep. Other than that, this has worked well so far. If any issues arise, we will be sure to update you.

Overall, the Oasis is a great option if you are having trouble getting to sleep at night. If you need a new alarm clock, or just looking for a way to get to sleep better, the Sound Oasis Advanced Sleep Sound Therapy may be just what you need. You can purchase one from either Soundoasis.com or Amazon.com
