What is LIMBO?
Technically, LIMBO is a smart, self-balancing electric gyro, disguised as a beautiful CNC machined spinning top that spins for hours.
Not technically, LIMBO is pure magic. Just imagine taking an innocent looking Spinning top, that looks and feels like any other, give it a spin, wait for it to fall, but instead of falling looking at it spin for hours.

How and why we decided to break Guinness World Record?
While working on LIMBO, we realized breaking the Guinness World Record for longest running mechanical spinning top will be something we can do. We’ve always wanted to break a record, but ended up doing it as a proof for skeptical people that LIMBO can indeed spin for hours.
The Tech Behind the Magic
The top, created by Fearless Toys, utilizes a PID algorithm, a silent motor and the most advance battery of its kind to allow the top to spin for hours. Outside the titanium top appears and feels to be as slick and rustic/simple as any old top but inside this mechanical top is programmed with the newest autonomous technology that stabilizes the top by controlling its speed to create friction on almost any given surface. The motor of this self-perpetuating top will regulate its power based on the friction of the surface it’s spun on. The tech is so proficient it automatically corrects a users bad spin, something particularly helpful for children and people with poor hand eye coordination.
