UBISOFT SHOWCASES DIVERSE AND EXCITING LINEUP OF GAMES DURING CHINAJOY
SHANGHAI – July 30, 2018 — Today, Ubisoft announced its plans for ChinaJoy, one of the largest gaming and digital entertainment exhibitions in the world. Ubisoft will showcase more than a dozen upcoming games to hundreds of thousands of ChinaJoy attendees, provide hours of live content from the show to millions of Douyu viewers, and offer up its vision of how video games will become a leading force in shaping society.
On August 2, the opening day of ChinaJoy’s China Digital Entertainment Congress (CDEC), Ubisoft CEO and Co-Founder Yves Guillemot will deliver a speech outlining his predictions on the impact that technological disruptions will have on video game development, and how in turn video games and play will positively influence the world. This is Guillemot’s second year delivering a keynote at CDEC, which brings together digital entertainment leaders to discuss insights on the latest developments in global film and television, games, net literature, music, and animation.
From August 3 through August 6, visitors to Ubisoft’s ChinaJoy booth (located in Hall E7-06) can see upcoming games, including Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey, Beyond Good & Evil™ 2, For Honor®Marching Fire™, Just Dance® 2019, Skull & Bones™, Space Junkies™, Starlink: Battle for Atlas™, Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2, Trials® Rising, and mobile titles Hungry Dragon and Heroes of Might & Magic Dynasty. A store area inside the booth will sell limited edition Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege collectibles and exclusive Ubisoft artwork and novels.
Fans who are unable to attend ChinaJoy can still follow Ubisoft’s activities at the show online thanks to a partnership with Douyu, a leading esports and livestreaming platform in China. From 1:00 p.m. to3:30 p.m. CST each day of the show, Ubisoft will stream exclusive show content tailor made for Chinese fans on Douyu TV’s homepage, Channel 8. In addition to game demonstrations, live stage shows, community Q&A and special guest appearances will round out Ubisoft’s ChinaJoy programming.
