New CaseCruzer Extreme USB 3.0 Sync ‘N’ Charge Station Speeds Streaming x 10 for Mobile Devices

CaseCruzer goes full tilt to help military, health and entertainment with its Extreme USB 3.0 Sync ‘N’ Charge Station. Nearly ten times faster, this cutting-edge technology is critical to all information-sensitive environments, on the ground or in the air, and is compatible with most name-brand tablets such as Apple iPad, Samsung and other Android devices.

SuperSync improves efficiency and security by rapidly charging and synchronizing up to 15 tablets during important missions. This has allowed the United States Air Force, Air Mobility Command (AMC) and commercial airlines to replace the traditional heavy paper manual flight bags with lightweight tablet Electronic Flight Bags (EFB). EFBs use the software on iPads. Tablets can be charged overnight. Software updates and security patches happen automatically.

Extreme USB 3.0 Sync ‘N’ Charge Station also makes sense for healthcare and government operations, be it Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) during hurricane season, or day-to-day services where space is limited. Think clinics, nursing stations and hospitals. Updating important medical information improves efficiency in life-and-death settings.

CaseCruzer has fitted each charge and sync station with two layers of security, both of which can be padlocked to keep tablets safe while not in use. A pullout handle and embedded wheels make the charging solution mobile.

SuperSync tablet chargers are compliant with USB 3.0 specifications and will provide data streaming at up to 5 Gbps. But the high speed is available only to devices and cables that are also USB 3.0 compliant.

Backward compatibility allows users to mix-and-match USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 devices and simultaneously sync-and-charge through two independent channels. Please note all USB 2.0 tablets, such as the Apple iPad, will recharge at the lower speed rate of 480 Mbps because of the USB 3.0 specifications that require non-compliant devices to communicate at USB 2.0 HS rates.

Extreme USB 3.0 Sync ‘N’ Charge Station is expected to improve speed by a factor of 10. When fully loaded with 15 (USB 3.0-compliant) tablets the unit is designed to achieve 5,000/15 = 333 Mbps, while the previous Sync ‘N’ Charge could reach only 480/15 = 32 Mbps. Please note, speed will also depend on latency and the software that is being used. SuperSync charges at 2.1 Amps or 10 Watts per port and uses software for port control. Compatible with Mac OS and Windows (XP, 7, and 8) and is future-proof and updatable.

Full-time charging is possible without fear of overheating. CaseCruzer fitted the unit with an internal fan. Plug it into a 110V outlet with a power strip. Charge rates do not drop, even with full-speed simultaneous charges and syncs. Synchronization is achieved using standard tools, such as Apple Configurator, iTunes or Android equivalents.

Exterior dimensions are 31.63″ L x 20.50″ W x 15.75″ H. Weighs only 46.7 lbs. when empty. The carrying solution is FedEx and UPS safe. The Ez-Pack ‘N’ Ship feature also protects the carrying solution when shipping via commercial or military aircraft. Available in black.
