NEW YORKSept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Continuing its 170-year history of offering the Best, the Only and the Unexpected, Hammacher Schlemmer introduces The Seat Back Tablet/Phone Mount, a tablet/smartphone mount that secures to the seat back of most commercial airplanes.

It attaches to the tray-table latch with an integrated clamp and wire cable, enabling one to enjoy screen access while keeping the tray table clean for drinks, snacks, or other devices. Two included magnetic plates secure to a device’s back, battery, or protective case and enable it to dock and disengage from the mount’s magnetic surface with minimal effort. The mount can be articulated and tilted to multiple angles and accommodates smartphones and tablets up to 10.1″. Also mounts to a car vent and stands on a flat surface.

“Being confined in an airplane cabin can make flying an uncomfortable ordeal,” said Hammacher Schlemmer’s General Manager Nick DiMarco. “This device helps make airline travel a more pleasant and comfortable experience by freeing up your personal space.”

The Seat Back Tablet/Phone Mount is available from Hammacher Schlemmer for $49.95. For more information about The Seat Back Tablet/Phone Mount, please contact Trish Hammond at (847) 581-8987 or via e-mail at pr@hammacher.com.
