LAS VEGAS, NV, December 20, 2018 — At CES 2019 Audio-Technica will be showcasing its recently announced Sound Reality ATH-SR50BT and ATH-SR30BT premium wireless headphones, which combine the freedom of cord-free music listening with Audio-Technica’s latest advancements in Bluetooth® audio and rechargeable battery technology.

Along with these wireless models the company is also now shipping its ATH-SR50 on-ear wired headphones, which offers exceptional high-resolution audio playback. All will be on exhibit at CES 2019 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth 20860, South Hall Lower Level (January 8 – 11, 2019).

The ATH-SR50BT (SRP: US$199.00) delivers best-in-class wireless audio performance, along with the convenience of answering/ending calls and controlling music and video playback on compatible Bluetooth wireless devices. The ATH-SR50BT features a noise-reduction mode that minimizes environmental sounds and allows more of the music to be heard. The headphones also provide a switchable ambient noise hear-through function that lets outside sounds such as airport announcements to come through. These and other functions can be controlled by Audio-Technica’s new Connect app for iOS and Android devices or by the headphones’ handy touch and swipe controls.

The ATH-SR50BT utilizes high-precision 45 mm drivers that deliver wide-range natural, accurate and dynamic sound over a wireless connection that is compatible with aptX® and AAC (as well as SBC) codecs for the best-possible wireless audio reproduction. In addition, the headphones offer an optional wired connection when the battery runs out or if the listener wants to enjoy Hi-Res Audio sources. The ATH-SR50BT supports the latest Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology. Available in black and brown-gray finishes, the ATH-SR50BT comes with an audio cable, USB charging cable and carrying pouch. Its fold-flat design allows easy storage and its soft memory-foam earpads and headband ensure long-wearing comfort.

The ATH-SR30BT (SRP: US$99.00) is the perfect traveling companion thanks to its remarkably long 70-hour battery life, outstanding sound quality and comfortable design. The ATH-SR30BT employs powerful 40 mm drivers that deliver clear and detailed midrange and high-frequencies along with rich, articulate bass. The headphones’ dual-layer housing keeps the acoustic space separate from the electronics for optimal transient response and other sonic benefits.

The ATH-SR30BT supports low-energy Bluetooth 5.0 technology for improved wireless performance. It features conveniently located controls and a mic built into the earcup for easy handling of calls and music playback. Available in black and gray, the ATH-SR30BT has a lightweight fold-flat design and comes with a USB charging cable.

Audio-Technica’s new ATH-SR50 over-ear wired headphones (SRP: US$159.00) deliver superlative Hi-Res Audio reproduction, thanks to its exclusively designed 45 mm True Motion Drivers and Multi-Layer Air Damping technology, which utilizes a layered driver housing and triple air vent system that precisely controls the driver’s airflow for superior audio clarity. The ATH-SR50 also provides a balanced audio connection, facilitating its use with headphone amplifiers and portable audio players with a balanced audio output. Featuring a fold-flat portable design, the ATH-SR50 has soft memory foam earpads and a memory foam headband for ultimate comfort. It comes with two detachable 3.5-foot cables: one with a 4.4 mm 4-pole balanced mini-plug and the other with a 3.5 mm stereo mini plug.

The Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BT, ATH-SR30BT and ATH-SR50 will be available in January 2019.
