NASA has awarded a contract to Booz Allen Hamilton of Houston to provide independent programmatic and institutional assessment capabilities at the agency’s Johnson Space Center, also in Houston.

The Strategic Professional Engineering Assessment Contract (SPEAC) is a blanket purchase agreement that begins Feb. 27, 2019, with a one-year base period, followed by four one-year options that would extend the contract through Feb. 26, 2024. The maximum total value of SPEAC is $112 million.

Under this contract, reviews and assessments will be performed in support of organizational tactical and strategic planning efforts and comprise independent assessments including aspects of cost, schedule, technical risk, safety and mission assurance for programs in NASA’s Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate.
