When replacing a radio, the AXTC-1 utilizes patented Auto-Detect technology1 that automatically detects the vehicle type, radio connection and preset controls, while allowing the ability to dual assign steering wheel controls. Holly Hill, FL – January 7, 2019 – Axxess Integrate® by Metra Electronics® is debuting a new interface designed to automatically disengage the STOP/START engine feature on select Ford and Chrysler vehicles. “Having the engine turn off when stopped may be bothersome to some people. Now installers can offer drivers the option to override or re-engage this feature automatically,” says Juan Lugo, Director of Product Development for Axxess. The AX-SSO is patent-pending with exclusive interface technology and can be used with factory or aftermarket radios. Water-resistant options will also be available for Axxess’ best selling ASWC-1 and its AX-DSP-X, offering more solutions for marine and powersports audio. Additional plug-n-play harnesses for the AX-DSP and AX-DSP-X will cover a wide range of vehicles, including those with MOST25, MOST50 and SPIDF amplified systems.
