Firstech, maker of remote start brands including Compustar and DroneMobile as well as Momento dash cameras, announced the release of the Momento M6 (MD-6200) dashcam.  It adds WiFi ability to review video footage on an iOS or Android phone.

The Momento M6 system includes front and rear cameras, each with wide-angle lenses that can record in 1080p high-definition. The M6 front camera offers enhanced backlighting due to its Sony STARVIS Image Sensor.  It also has built in motion and shock sensors that trigger special recordings that are stored separately from normal footage.

In the event of an accident or hit-and-run, drivers can review video evidence using the Momento Dash Cam Viewer app, now offered for iPhones and Android phones. When the dashcam is used with a WiFi hotspot, drivers can edit and download footage from the Momento M6 for filing an insurance claim, reporting an incident to the police, or posting to social media.
