SOUTHFIELD, Mich.March 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — European drivers have long depended on Jurid® and Ferodo®premium quality braking products for top performance on their vehicles.  Both brands have long been global leaders in both Original Equipment and aftermarket applications, and beginning now, Jurid and Ferodo rotors are available in the North American market. The new line of rotors entail 53 SKUs and complement the 89 Jurid and Ferodo brake pads currently available in North America.

Jurid and Ferodo rotors are designed for top performance, with superior heat dissipation, premium metallurgy and overall design.  Each features an optimized surface finish for quick, smooth bedding of pad to rotor, along with vibration damping to reduce brake noise and inhibit uneven pad wear. The majority of Jurid and Ferodo rotors are manufactured with Coat+™, an oxidation-resistant, matte silver coating which inhibits rust formation on the hub for easier installation and replacement.

The new Jurid rotors are available for 62 German vehicle models, including the 2010-2017 Audi A3 (rear); 2011-2017 BMW X5 (front); 2015-2017 Mercedes-Benz CLS400 (rear); and 2012-2018 Volkswagen Passat (front).  Specifically designed for British, Italian, and other European import vehicles, the Ferodo rotors cover 27 models, including the 1995-2003 Jaguar Vanden Plas (rear); 2010-2016 Land Rover LR4 (front); 2002-2017 Mini Cooper (rear); and 2001-2009 Volvo S60 (rear).

“Jurid and Ferodo have long been brands that European installers look to for reliability, quality, and a strong OE connection, something that North American Euro-import customers share,” said Rebecca Mahan, director, brand marketing, North America, Tenneco/Federal-Mogul Motorparts.  “We’re thrilled to be able to offer these new rotors to complement the existing brake pad product line, which will provide North American customers with the same high-performance for their imported cars that our European customers have known for years.”
