World’s First, Nano 3D Art Sculptures Created from Your Pictures Launched on Kickstarter

PLEASANTON, Calif.March 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — e-skin Displays debuts a world’s first, a process to create Nano 3D Art sculptures on demand and customizable to your imagination at an affordable price on the popular crowd funding site, Kickstarter. Users can send digitized pictures of portraits, romantic pictures, art, scriptures, greeting cards, invitations, events, etc. and e-skin will create beautiful and amazing Nano 3D sculptures from the digital picture. The Nano 3D sculpture is about 10 microns. In comparison, human hair is about 100 microns, so the sculptures are very small and beautiful.

An e-skin spokesman said that humans have used art to communicate from early ages for love, religious events, to commemorate an event or tell a story, etc. Art has evolved from cave paintings 45000 years ago to sculptures, paintings, modern art and now Nano 3D Art, see http://youtu.be/hh30rKThQHU.

So, what is Nano Art? ” Nano art is a new art discipline at the art-science-technology intersections. It features Nano landscapes (molecular and atomic landscapes which are natural structures of matter at molecular and atomic scales) and Nano sculptures (structures created by scientists and artists by manipulating matter at molecular and atomic scales using chemical and physical processes).” (nanoart21.org)

e-skin is an expert in Nano technology and an authority on plasmonics and uses that expertise and ultrafast laser technology to manipulate materials to create the Nano 3D Art. The e-skin spokesman said they decided to launch the campaign on the popular Kickstarter crowd funding platform to raise funds for the development of Nano technology-based Nano 3D Art, and other Nano technology based structural color paint, displays, etc.

e-skin Displays (www.eskindisplays.com) has invented e-skin Paint the World’s first full color, angle independent, plasmonics based structural color paint / display, see https://www.prlog.org/12757223.html. e-skin Displays won the Merck Display Futures award as the most innovative idea for 2016, see Korea times (http://www.koreaittimes.com/news/articleView.html?idxno=62016). e-skin Display’s technology paper was a cover article on Nature. The technology is a recipient of the prestigious NSF technology grant. Our technology has been covered widely by BBC News, NBC, Popular Science, shown on TV, etc.

The crowd funding campaign will be available for 60 days.  Users can select from various rewards to participate in the campaign.
