A New Era of Mobile Leadership Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy S10 5G… COMING SOON

Spring is an exciting time for consumers and Samsung. Soon, we will introduce not one, but two, of the biggest leaps forward in mobile innovation:

  • Starting tomorrow, anyone who has registered on Samsung.com to receive more information about Galaxy Fold will be given an exclusive invitation to be the first in line to reserve this cutting-edge device.
  • And, starting in May, the Galaxy S10 5G will be available for U.S. consumers, with pre-orders starting soon.

“This is a pivotal moment for U.S. consumers—two new groundbreaking devices are coming to market that, each in their own unique way, will change the future of the mobile landscape,” said Travis Warren,Senior Vice President and Head of Carrier Sales and Operations, Samsung Electronics America. “We design our Galaxy devices to open up incredible opportunities for users, and the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S10 5G are taking that legacy to a whole new level.”

And on April 26th, you can visit select AT&T, T-Mobile, Best Buy or Samsung Experience Stores to purchase the Galaxy Fold.

The Need for Speed

There’s something happening in the air—you can’t see it, you can’t feel it, but it’s the most important thing to happen to mobile networks in years. 5G will bring unprecedented speed and connectivity to the world, and Samsung is starting to make it a reality, today.

In South Korea, we were instrumental in bringing 5G wireless service to consumers. Working with major carriers, we delivered the largest share of 5G network solutions in Korea and deployed 5G core solutions and more than 53,000 5G base station radios—making 5G available to people and businesses in 85 cities across the country. And because our networking technology comes in one of the smallest and lightest form factors available, we made it easier and faster for those carriers to build out their networks and bring hyperfast 5G to their customers.

Take amazing photos and video and be the first to post, even on a crowded network. The possibilities of S10 5G are endless, and you can experience it in the U.S. starting in May.

We’re excited for what’s to come. From a next-generation form factor, to a device that unlocks hyperfast connectivity, Samsung is leveraging its legacy of technological innovations to redefine the mobile experience all over again.
