NASA Awards Contract for Software, Maintenance, Support

NASA has awarded a contract to Minburn Technology Group in Great Falls, Virginia, for the procurement of Microsoft software, maintenance, and support.

The Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurements (SEWP) contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with provisions for firm-fixed-price delivery orders. Work under SEWP begins immediately with a one-year base period, followed by two one-year options. The total value of this contract, if all options are exercised, is approximately $73.6 million.

This acquisition establishes a procurement vehicle to procure Microsoft software, maintenance and support. This includes licenses for Microsoft Office, Project, Visio and Office 365, along with a number of other Microsoft products. This acquisition will provide a single mechanism for ordering new software licenses and maintenance renewals in support of all agency customers. NASA will establish a three-year SEWP Catalog, which will provide a longer-term option for NASA to effectively and efficiently procure Microsoft licenses, licenses renewals, maintenance, and support.
