NASA Awards Contract for Flight Dynamics Support Services

NASA has awarded the Flight Dynamics Support Services (FDSS) III contract, a small business set-aside, to OPR, LLC of Beltsville, Maryland, to provide flight dynamics support services to, and related service support for, the Engineering and Technology Directorate’s Mission and Systems Analysis Division at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

The cost-plus-fixed fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a minimum ordering value of $3 million and a maximum ordering value of $165 million. The contract begins Sept. 2 with a 60-day phase-in period, followed by a five-year ordering period starting Nov. 1.

OPR, LLC will provide for the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions.
