WORX New Powerful Blower/Mulcher/Vac

Charlotte, NC – The new WORX® 3-in-1 TRIVAC® Blower/Mulcher/Vac has been redesigned with a patented articulating motor that provides one-touch, tool-free conversion from blower to vacuum/mulcher. The yard vac generates high-capacity air volume due to its motor and air siphon design.

“Not all vacs are alike, so homeowners considering a blower/mulcher/vac should look at its combination of features,” said Pete Denley, WORX Senior Product Manager. “How does the vac convert from blower to mulcher?  What’s the machine’s mulch ratio? It’s also important to note that what packs the punch is not mph, but the vac’s air volume capacity or cfm rating.”

With TRIVAC, there’s no need to change tubes. All blowing, vacuuming and mulching functions are managed using a single tube. To convert from blower to mulcher/vac, just turn the dial and connect the 1.2 bushel collection bag for mulch pickup.

WORX 3-in-1 TRIVAC.jpgThe wide-mouth circular tube design makes it ideal for vacuuming leaves and other yard debris throughout the property, even in hard-to-reach areas, such as beneath decks, between shrubs and fence lines. The TRIVAC features two-speeds with a maximum of 600 cfm. At low speed, the blower’s sweeping action pulls debris from corners, as well as clearing sidewalks, driveways, patios and decks. High speed drives movement of large volumes of leaves. Choose high speed to round-up and corral  large volumes of leaves, which homeowners encounter during fall/

The 12-amp blower/mulcher/vac has a single-stage metal impeller to shred leaves and twigs into a 16:1 ratio. Simply stated, if a homeowner was filling recyclable bags with leaves and twigs by hand, he or she would fill nearly 16 bags versus a single bag with the WORX TRIVAC.

The lightweight combination vac is well-balanced and easy to use.  It weighs 9.0 lbs. in blower mode and 9.5 lbs. in vac mode due to the weight of the collection bag.

An optional accessory for the TRIVAC is WORX LeafPro Universal Collection System with Turbine Adapter (WA4058, $ 49.99). It includes an 8-ft. flexible hose that fully extends to 16 ft. One end of the hose connects to the TRIVAC’s mulch outlet, while the other end leads to trash container. An elastic, cinch-tied-hood at the other end of the hose, slips over the rim of a trash can (32-96 gal., round or square) for collection purposes.

Power up in vacuuming mode, and the TRIVAC vacuums and shreds leaves and twigs and sends them through the hose and into the trash can container.  With this optional accessory, yard debris is contained and homeowners can easily handle larger volumes of leaves. There’s less bending over for leaf collection and the mulch can be used in compost bins, flower beds or placed in recyclable bags for curbside pickup.WORX WG512 TRIVAC angle left w bag.jpg
